Summer Studio: Shakespeare for Teen Artists

Summer Studio: Shakespeare for Teen Artists is a one-day intensive workshop created for young artists ages 14-18 looking to build their confidence in performing classical texts. Whether you've never read Shakespeare before or if you've already fallen head over heels for all the Bard's plays, this intensive is focused on empowering actors with tools and techniques to bring your full self to iconic characters.

APT actors, teaching artists and directors will lead students through educational activities centered on As You Like It in addition to an audition workshop with our artistic department. To close out the day, students will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion with professional artists about training, careers and the art of being an artist.

Perfect for students embarking on their college audition journey, this one-day-only experience is not to be missed!

All Summer Studio: Shakespeare for Teen Artists participants will receive a complimentary ticket to Friday, July 10's evening performance of As You Like It included in the cost of their session. Family members of participants can also receive up to four tickets to join their camper for the evening performance at 25% off (subject to availability).

Session Tuition: $134 (includes classes, activities, one ticket to As You Like It in the Hill Theatre and participant t-shirt).
